The Career Flow Collective

Hello [[contact.first_name|default: "there"]],

Over the past few weeks, you’ve been building a more flexible relationship with your roles –noticing your energy, experimenting with small shifts, and implementing intentional changes.

This week, we shift into integration.

Because balance isn’t something we achieve once, it’s something we strengthen over time.

Like a muscle, it requires practice.
And practice asks for both intention and reflection.

This week is lighter in doing, and deeper in noticing:

  • How do your intentions shape the way you show up?
  • And how does that influence the energy you carry into your work?

If you’re still working with your SMART experiment from last week, keep going.
You may be refining it, re-trying it, or building deeper awareness.

Wherever you are in the process — that’s exactly where you need to be.

This week, we focus on how intentional awareness creates the energy needed for balance.

Do small things with great love,

Eileen Murphy

Reflection

Take a few moments to reflect:

  • Which one role or responsibility will you focus on this week to bring more intention and energy into it?

  • How does approaching this role with flexibility shift your sense of steadiness or flow?

  • Looking back over the past three weeks, what patterns are you noticing in how you respond to pressure, energy, and change?

  • Where does balance feel more natural now — and where are you still holding on tightly?

Practice

At the end of each workday:

  • Rate your sense of balance and flexibility on a scale of 1–5
  • Note one moment where you consciously flexed with ease, curiosity, or intention
  • Identify any tension points — where did rigidity show up? How might you respond differently next time?

Optional journaling prompts:

  • What is one intentional action I took today that reinforced my values?

  • What have I learned about my capacity to stay grounded while flexing in my work roles?

End-of-Week Synthesis:

At the end of the week, take a few moments to look back:

  • Where am I naturally finding balance and flexibility?

  • Where might I need more support, boundaries, or practice?

  • What is one habit, mindset, or small shift I want to carry into next month?

Optional Reset Practice

Small reset practices to help regulate your nervous system. Here are three you can play throughout the month:

Breathwork
Box breathing for 1-2 minutes. Inhale for 4 counts → Hold for 4 → Exhale for 4 → Hold for 4.

You can draw a box in the air using your hand/finger or pen to paper - draw each side of a square for each breath segment.

Movement
Get up and away. Take a solo mindful walk around your work station, office, or go outside. Pay attention to your feet hitting the ground, keeping your head up to look ahead.

If you want to level-up your walk, ask yourself 3x “how [say your name] feeling?” and then ask 3x “what [say your name] do I need?”

Grounding
Reframe  urgency. Instead of saying “I don’t have time,” try “I’m prioritizing what matters most right now.” This shifts your focus, calms stress, and anchors you in what’s within your present control.

(You can always return to the Reset Practice Reference Guides here.)

Lingering Thought

Balance isn't something you find.

It's something you practice, moment by moment.
