The Career Flow Collective

Hello [[contact.first_name|default: "there"]],
This month, we’re focusing on balance. Not as something to achieve, but as something to practice.
Balance is your capacity to bend, shift, and stay steady without judgment. And this week, we begin blending that idea with what you’ve already been building: awareness of your energy.
Instead of pushing through or forcing a way of working, we’re starting to notice: - Where does our energy naturally support how we show up?
- And where does it feel forced, stretched, or rigid?
Because balance isn’t about holding everything equally. It’s about learning how to move with our energy and adjusting in real time so we can stay present, effective, and connected to ourself.
Do small things with great love. Eileen Murphy
P.S. Don’t forget to reserve your 1:1 session for this month.

Take a few moments to reflect: Which roles feel energizing and natural — where you show up with ease, confidence, and flow? Which roles feel heavy, draining, or rigid — where your energy feels stuck or stretched thin? How do you notice these differences in your body, breath, or mindset?
|
|
|
|
List out the roles you take on during your workday. For example: team member, leader, collaborator, mentor, problem-solver, advocate
Throughout the week, check in at least 3 times per day and annotate your roles: + = Energizing (supports your focus and presence) – = Draining (creates tension or depletes your energy)
Guided Inquiry As you observe your patterns, explore: Looking at your energizing roles: Looking at your draining roles:
What do you notice about your flexibility and energy? Are expectations, habits, or pressures contributing to the drain? Where might there be an opportunity to “plug the leak”?
And most importantly:

Small reset practices to help regulate your nervous system. Here are three you can play with throughout the month:
Breathwork Box breathing for 1-2 minutes. Inhale for 4 counts → Hold for 4 → Exhale for 4 → Hold for 4. You can draw a box in the air using your hand/finger or pen to paper - draw each side of a square for each breath segment.
Movement Get up and away. Take a solo mindful walk around your work station, office, or go outside. Pay attention to your feet hitting the ground, keeping your head up to look ahead. If you want to level-up your walk, ask yourself 3x “how [say your name] feeling?” and then ask 3x “what [say your name] do I need?”
Grounding Reframe urgency. Instead of saying “I don’t have time,” try “I’m prioritizing what matters most right now.” This shifts your focus, calms stress, and anchors you in what’s within your present control.
