The Career Flow Collective

Hello [[contact.first_name|default: "there"]],

A quick reminder before we begin:

This process isn’t meant to create pressure or judgment. If you didn’t complete every reflection or experiment, that’s okay. The value is simply in staying curious about the ideas and noticing what you’re learning about yourself.

Wherever you are in the process is exactly where you need to be.

Over the past few weeks, you’ve been observing how your energy moves through your day, noticing what drains it, experimenting with moments of rest, and exploring different ways to respond to challenging situations.

Now we arrive at the final step of this first month: integration.

Integration isn’t about fixing everything at once. It’s about taking what you’ve noticed and choosing one or two small shifts that support a more energized and steady presence in your work.

As you move through this week, begin to notice something important:

Balance isn’t about holding everything perfectly still.

It’s more like standing on one foot.
Your foot wobbles. Your arms adjust. Your body makes constant micro-shifts.

You’re balanced because you allow movement, not because everything stays perfectly still.

Your career works the same way.

Do small things with great love,

Eileen Murphy

Reflection

Looking back over the past three weeks, spend a few minutes reflecting:

  • What have I learned about how my energy moves through the day?

  • When does my breath feel open and easy? And what’s happening in those moments?

  • What drains have softened or shifted because of my awareness and small adjustments?

  • What practices or boundaries have had the greatest impact on my steadiness or confidence?

Activity

Last week, you explored the 4A’s of stress management: adapt, alter, avoid, and accept as ways to respond differently to draining situations.

Now the question becomes: What feels like a small step forward?

Is there:

  • an action you want to experiment with?

  • a boundary that could support your energy?

  • a conversation you’re beginning to feel ready to have?

  • a mindset shift that allows you to release tension?

  • a new level of acceptance that frees up energy?

You don’t need to solve everything.

Instead, choose one small shift that feels aligned with the vision you have for your career presence.

Then gently experiment (trial and learn) with it this week.

Notice what happens when you allow your energy, rather than pressure, to guide your next step.

Optional Reset Practice

Breathwork
Take one minute for energizing belly breaths at the start of your workday.

Movement
Try a gentle seated twist to release tension and encourage circulation.

Grounding
Place your feet firmly on the floor before a meeting. Imagine roots growing into the ground beneath you.

Throughout the program, I’ll continue sharing simple reset practices like these as reminders to support your energy during the workday.

(You can always return to the Reset Practice Reference Guides here.)

Upcoming Dates

Your Restorative Group Session is scheduled for:

April 24th at 12:00 PM CST / 1:00 PM EST
